TROUBLESHOOTING

In some cases, you may see an error code or issue inside WMC. If you get the chance to send in your error report, please do so, then contact us.

* “Unable to set graphics mode” when playing the presentation

It is, in 99% case,  due to a missing or outdated display driver.

Solution 1: Please install the latest graphic driver for the graphic card. Search online for “(your brand) graphic driver” and install the software. You may need to restart your computer.

Solution 2: (Advanced) Please send us a dxdiag report:
——————————————

– Please do the following:
– Open the start menu
– Go to accessories, then command line.
– on the black window, type dxdiag.exe
– on the new window click on the bottom button that will say (similar to) “save all information…”, then save the file dxdiag.txt on the desktop and send this file to us. We’ll respond with a dedicated solution.

* Problem when playing movies on a slideshow

You may see an error saying “memory access violation” .

Solution 1: Please install the K-lite Codec Pack. This is a safe and very helpful codec pack that will increase productivity on your computer as a whole. If you don’t know which codec pack to install, simply download the “basic” pack, however, the bigger packs are great additions to your video computer.

Solution 2: Please send us the project file you’re working on so we can inspect it ourselves.

* When upgrading to a new version, the error “delete file failed code 5 access denied” is displayed

This problem arrives when a new update is available: The issue comes when a user starts WMC, sees the “update popup”, clicks on “Download Update” then tries to install the new version without closing the current instance of WMC.

Solution 1: Please close any running instance of WMC, go to the User/Download folder and double click on “WorshipMediaCreator_1.x.x.exe” file to reinstall the new version. This should fix the issue.

* License Key Dialogue does not appear (cannot insert key)

This is a very rare problem, but still occurs sometimes. We need to provide you with a custom fix, please contact us for further help.
